Lake Murray Jaycees - Spirit of the Sands 2008

During the weekend of December 12 2008, the Lake Murray chapter in conjunction with the various chapters of the South Carolina Jaycees partnered with the Sands Resort hotel located in Myrtle Beach. Each participating chapter was required to adopt a needy family for a weekend stay at the hotel with all meals, entertainment, and lodging provided free of all charges! Christmas gifts were distributed to the each of the families. The Lake Murray Chapter adopted the Tillman family who were very fortunate to receive generous gifts themselves, including a color television set.
